A New Year

It has been a long while since I have posted. We have had a wonderful Christmas (thanks to everyone) and a happy New Year.

Audrey seems to have gotten smarter over night. She is saying all sorts of things now. For example, "thank you," "duck," "bless you," and many other things. She has started to parrot everything I say too. (I better really watch what I say now. No more cussing and threats;)

I looked out the window the other morning and the snow looked this beautiful orange-pink color. It was extra beautiful that morning. The mountains usually obstruct such sunrises so this was a special treat. I took a picture out the front door, but it didn't do the sunrise justice.

Tara, That is a beautiful view from your window. Can I say that I miss mountains. We are flat everywhere. I am glad that you had a happy New Years and Christmas. We miss you. I need some auntie time with your sweet, sweet Audrey. And some sister bonding too.

That looks like a professional picture! I'm impressed, Tara! :) It really makes you stop and think about what you say when you hear them say it. I didn't realize I said "don't" so much until Sennika learned to say it...then I heard it come out of my mouth more than I though/wanted it to. They are smart very young and know what's going on!
