Where did that come from?

I have decided that I am going to run a 5k this spring. Those of you that know me well, know that I despise running. Running = death! I think runners are insane! I think they like to torture themselves. I also hate the jigglee syndrome that accompanies me when I go running. You may ask, "Why are you going to run a 5k then?" Well, I need a challenge, and running equals sexy calf muscles and such. I mainly just want to get in better shape. If I happen to lose some weight along the way, awesome! I have been running lately, and it has gone better than I thought it would.

I am putting this on my blog because it makes it feel more official. Now, that I have told everyone, I can't back out of it.

Molly, if you are reading this, you are running the 5k with me. You don't have a choice. Also, Pearl, if you want to join us you are more than welcome. The date and such will come later after I do some research.

If anyone else wants to join us, you are more than welcome to join in.

This picture is a symbol of my victory!!! Go team!

My legs hurt just thinking about that. Probably because I was on my feet for almost 6 hours at work today. You are braver than I am.

Be careful my sister-in-law said the same thing now she will be running a marathon!!! I said to her the other day. “I thought you hate running.” She said she just got use to it. As you know Ed’s family is not thin by nature. So, she has learned this is what she has to do and she looks great.
So, you go girl!!!

I admire runners. I've decided I lack the mental game to be one. I wimp out way too easy. Good luck! You can do it!

I too, hate running...but I really hate it and will never do it, so I admire you a lot! I'll stick to my bicycle.

I find it helpful when running to have some sort of motivation. Wild bears are good motivation. Just remember to run FROM them, not toward them.
